Stamp duty calculator
The total stamp duty on a home purchase is buyer's stamp duty (BSD), plus additional buyer's stamp duty (ABSD) where it applies. This works out both.
Your numbers stay in this browser. The calculator works on your device. It does not save your numbers or send them anywhere. They are only sent if you tick "Send my numbers" in the form at the end of this page and submit it.

- The buyers have different profiles. IRAS applies the highest ABSD rate, 5%, to the whole price.
- A married couple with at least one Singapore Citizen buying their first home together may apply to IRAS for ABSD remission. It is not automatic, and the conditions are strict.
- Stamp duty is paid on top of the downpayment, usually in cash first. For an eligible home purchase, CPF Ordinary Account savings may be used to reimburse it later.
A planning aid, not advice. It uses the rules shown below and the figures you enter. Banks, IRAS and CPF Board decide the actual figures for your case.
