Our clients' story
We are glad to have our clients from One Canberra share their experience of working with our consultants. They discovered PLB through our videos before deciding to give our team the opportunity to help with their sale. When they looked back on the experience, they spoke about preparation, an understanding of the property and knowing that different people had clear responsibilities. We are grateful for that feedback. Much of the work behind a property campaign happens away from the finished video, and it means a great deal when clients feel that preparation in the way their experience is organised.
The client account below is paraphrased from the interview. Sections marked PLB perspective explain the wider process; they are not additional facts about this transaction.
From the interview
From watching our videos to working with us
Our clients first encountered PLB through video content. They found the approach interesting and, when it came time to sell, decided to give us a chance. We appreciate that trust. Watching a team's work is one thing; inviting that team to help with a home and an important decision is a different step.
They recalled being surprised by the efficiency they experienced. In particular, they felt that the salesperson understood what was being sold and had done the necessary homework. Their comments were about preparation they could recognise, rather than presentation alone. We were glad that the work behind the conversation helped them feel they were dealing with someone who understood the property.
From the interview
Seeing the team and its responsibilities clearly
Our clients said that they had prepared very little themselves at the outset because the team already had things ready. They noticed a clear division of duties and preparation being handled by different team members. What stood out was not simply the number of people involved, but that those people appeared to know what they were responsible for.
They also valued being informed and described the process as transparent. When discussing communication, they referred to weekly updates about viewings. We take their comments as a reflection of how important visibility was to them: understanding what the team was doing and what they could expect to hear, rather than feeling removed from the work happening on their behalf.
PLB perspective
Preparation should be felt in the conversation
For us, doing homework on a property has a practical purpose. It should help a consultant explain the home and respond thoughtfully to the owner's questions. The owner should not have to infer preparation from a polished introduction or a long list of credentials. It needs to be useful when the actual discussion begins.
Our One Canberra clients' feedback brings that point into focus. They remembered that the salesperson knew what was being sold. We value that observation because it concerns the substance of the interaction. Understanding a property is part of respecting the trust an owner places in us when asking for help with its sale.
PLB perspective
A team should make the process easier to follow
Having several people involved can create reassurance, but only when their involvement makes sense to the client. A team structure is not an end in itself. From the owner's perspective, its value lies in whether responsibilities are clear and the work connects without asking them to coordinate everyone themselves. That is the experience we want to work towards.
We were therefore pleased that our clients noticed the division of duties. Their comments describe something more useful than a large group of names. They saw people handling different preparations with a sense of responsibility. We want to preserve that clarity as we think about how our consultants and supporting colleagues work together around a client.
PLB perspective
Efficiency is also about the client's attention
When we hear the word efficiency, it is tempting to think only about speed. Our clients' account points to another meaning: arriving prepared so the owner does not have to start every discussion from the beginning. Time matters, but so does the attention a homeowner has available while continuing with the rest of their life.
We want the client's involvement to be purposeful. There will still be questions for the owner to answer and decisions only they can make. Good preparation should help them focus on those matters, rather than spend their energy trying to establish who is doing what. That is a useful standard for us to keep in mind.
PLB perspective
Keeping the owner connected to the campaign
A homeowner can entrust tasks to a team without wanting to lose sight of the process. We understand why transparency mattered to our One Canberra clients. Their property was the subject of the campaign, and progress affected their own plans. Communication should allow them to stay connected without having to chase every individual activity.
We value updates that help an owner understand what is happening, not just confirm that people are busy. The purpose is to provide context for the next conversation and any decision ahead. Our clients' reference to viewing updates reminds us that even work carried out away from the owner needs to be communicated in a way that remains useful to them.

What their feedback asks us to keep doing well
The details our clients remembered were practical: homework, preparation, responsibilities and information. We appreciate that their testimony brings attention to work that might otherwise sit behind the scenes. It encourages us to judge a process by how it is experienced by the homeowner, rather than only by how organised it looks internally.
We also hear a connection between those details. Preparation helps a conversation start well; clear responsibilities help the work proceed; communication helps the client remain involved. None replaces the others. We want to consider the whole experience, because the client lives through the handovers between those stages rather than seeing them as separate departments.

Thank you for giving our team the opportunity
We thank our One Canberra clients for giving PLB a chance and for taking the time to share what the experience felt like. Their decision to work with us began with something they saw online. We are grateful that they also found value in the preparation and people behind that first impression.
We invite you to watch their interview and hear the details that mattered to them. For us, their story is about making a team approach useful to the person at the centre of it. We appreciate the trust they placed in our consultants and the perspective they have shared with us.
